Incredibly elegant and polished, our 2019 'Flagship' Cabernet Sauvignon is a composite blend of the five heritage vineyards we exclusively source from ~ Beckstoffer Dr. Crane, Beckstoffer Las Piedras, Vine Hill Ranch, Weitz Vineyard, and Oakville Ranch.
Energetic waves of blackberry, boysenberry, cassis, cigar box, spiced mocha and clove leap out of the glass, continuing to expand and evolve with time. This wine is a decadent mixture of black, blue and red fruits that are supported by expressive minerality and cashmere-like tannins. Aged for 22 months in 100% new French oak, you can taste the energy and tension of the vintage, while a firm structure of keen acidity and crushed rocks lead into an intoxicatingly long finish. You are a fan of Rioja right? World-class, consistently declicious, aged, relatively cheap wines. What about Toro, Ribera del Duero, Priorat? These are among the greatest wines in the world. If you love wine, yet these names are vaguely familiar at best then this class is for you.
Geographically, France is a perfectly situated piece of land for growing grapes. The diversity of top-quality styles of all colors is mind-boggling. Learn about the classics with us.
For Long Islanders, California might as well be their native wine region. There is just so much more about it than Cabernets and Pinots, though.
Learn about one of the United States' top wine regions which is in our backyard. Learn about how it is rapidly improving, and its place in the world. Learn what to look for and where to find it. This class is a must.
